Vero wins Insurance Business General Insurer Claims Team 2022
Vero is proud to be acknowledged as 2022 General Insurer Claims Team of the Year at the Insurance Business Australia Awards. We would like to thank our broker partners for your recognition and appreciation of our efforts.
Vero Head of Commercial Property and Specialty Claims, Luke Whenman, said receiving the award is a “huge honour for the entire Vero team” who have been building on their strategy to deliver a Best in Class Claims service over a number of years. “To receive this award is reassuring feedback on the progress we’ve made towards that vision” Whenman said.
The weather events of 2022 have provided an “unfortunate reminder of the importance of a responsive and adaptable Claims experience.” These unforgiving events have provided a challenge for our claims team “many of whom continue to work through the large volume of weather claims received” in an effort “to continue to resolve each and every one.” Receiving the award is great reassurance that our team continue to deliver the first rate service Vero is recognised for.
Looking ahead to 2023 Whenman states Vero will continue “to invest in capability to ensure we have the right claims skills to make fast and accurate decisions, and to be able to benefit from automation and digital processes to ensure the claim experience is efficient and seamless.”
He states that Vero are also constantly refining their supply chain and service provider partnerships “to make sure our clients have access to the capacity and specialist capabilities to get back in business after a claim has occurred.”
