Vero launches expanded specialty product range to enhance broker experience

Vero is thrilled to announce the launch of Vero Specialty Lines, a suite of niche products designed to equip brokers with specialised risk solutions for their clients. This expansion underscores Vero's dedication to enhancing the broker experience by providing comprehensive and tailored offerings.

Meeting complex client needs

Vero Specialty Lines will consist of a suite of products aimed at addressing the specific and complex needs of brokers' clients. Backed by a skilled team of dedicated underwriters, this new range promises support across a broad spectrum of commercial risks. By FY28, Vero plans to offer circa ten distinct products under the Vero Specialty Lines banner. Key Offerings

The initial launch within the Specialty Lines suite will feature a refreshed Equipment Breakdown product, providing coverage for the repair or replacement costs for broken-down equipment at the insured's location. Enhancements include new-for-old coverage under specific conditions and an improved equipment upgrade provision, allowing businesses to resume operations with new equipment following a breakdown. This builds upon existing comprehensive offerings, which include no limitations for obsolescence, depreciation, or age, and is complemented by comprehensive business interruption and spoilage of stock coverage.

In 2025, Vero will further expand the Specialty Lines offering with updated Higher-Hazard Property and new Higher-Hazard Liability propositions. These will focus on well-risk managed higher-severity occupations with dedicated underwriting teams and enhanced risk management support.
