We’re forging ahead, actioning our commitment to Best-in-Class Claims which includes a platform upgrade for GIO’s OnDemand workers compensation reporting, as well as digitising several workers compensation forms for our Underwritten States.
Coming soon, the refreshed OnDemand reporting will retain the same functionality and the recently introduced digital forms will make it easier for you and your clients to provide essential claims information.
Once submitted, digital reimbursement forms are directly ingested into our claims system, immediately attached to an existing claim and actioned as part of our business-as-usual process.
Most recent digital forms introduced are:
In the ACT and TAS – Employer Compensation Reimbursement form
This form has been especially developed for small employers who previously accessed the manual reimbursement form on the GIO website. Large employers who submit their reimbursement forms via a bulk spreadsheet can continue to use this process.
In the ACT, TAS and WA – Workers Insurance Travel Reimbursement form
Caring for injured workers includes making it easier for them to be reimbursed for their travel costs.
In the ACT – Initial Notification of Injury
The current digital form has been updated to provide an easier user experience and enable quicker lodgement.
NB: The information we need to collect on these digital forms has not changed and PDF versions of the reimbursement forms remain available if required.
